| On our recent trip to Sorrento in May, our friend and hostess, Susan Eckis, stumbled upon this restaurant by her driver Gaitano. Susan, being a culinary genius herself, led a group up for dinner. Okay, not to lie to you, this was the best meal outside the Villa we had. In fact it was so delicious that we returned for lunch the next day! And at lunch, experienced another amazing meal. It is a fifteen minute drive from Sorrento but believe me when I say, "Well worth it". At dinner, Pasquale the owner invited us in as if we were long lost family. He started us off with plate after plate of salami, Mozzerela Caprece, fried artichokes, potato croquettes, olives from his trees, clamari, and shrimp. There were a few salads sprinkled in there. Then for the main course were plates of wild mushroom pasta, fresh Dorado fish, lamb chops, pasta with baby squid and shrimp, pasta with baby artichokes and it went on and on!! We were stuffed and could not even consider dessert so Pasquale in his Italian hospitality presented us with bottles freezer chilled homemade Lemoncello and Fennelcello. Hang on baby Jesus!!! This was it. What a way to end the most fantastic meal! I love Lemoncello but to have the chance to try the Fennelcello, wow. It was similar to a licorice liquor but with out that long lasting aftertaste. It was smooth and to the point!!! Delicious!! Now we figured the bill would arrive and we would end up washing dishes to pay. It was so reasonable that we almost fell out of our chairs. That is another reason we returned the next day for lunch. Just remember, he returns with the Lemoncello after lunch also !!! | ||

| Gill and I ate at the resurant on two occassions last week.We were on the first occassion met with stunning romantic views over the bay towards Capri, with a sunset out of a tour book.The welcome along with the fantastic menu, all explained with suggestions to our tastes gave the impression that these people really do care.The food was terrific, service friendly, a totally great meal. Our next visit was on a miserable wet friday evening. Although we didn't get the view,we were welcomed like long lost friends and treated to a meal that would put a Michelin Star resuarant to shame.My wife fancied fish,and was offered a dish not shown on the menu that brought stars to her eyes.The starter of courgette flowers stuffed with riccotta-out of this world. And all the time that attentive service that enhanced rather than detracted from the experience. Go again?-You Bet!! | ||

| ...ogni volta che torno lì è una guerra! :) non so cosa mangiare prima! Pasquale mi vizia!!!! ...dalla colazione alla cena ho tante alternative fra le quali scegliere..... e tutto di ottima qualità, solo prima scelta! Io sono di buona forchetta e, se potessi, metterei la firma per restare lì vita natural durante! :) ho provato carne, pesce e pizza! ..... tutto troppo buono per descriverlo con semplici parole! provate, non ve ne pentirete, sicuro! :) | ||

| Abbiamo casualmente trovato questo b&b ma in realtà è molto di più: cortesia,cordialità e calore ci hanno fatto sentire come a casa...per non parlare della ottima cucina,della simpatia(e non solo....) del sig.Pasquale dei suoi figli,di Luisa,Bartolo e Aldo(Mr. Brown...) | I visited Villa Caprile for lunch on June 15th and had an incredible experience. The food was amazing, the restaurant, hotel and view of the sea and Capri and Ischia was most beautiful, and the owners treated me like family. I have been telling everyone I know in Georgia and elsewhere that it is one of my favorite restaurants in the world. Grazie! | ||

| We have spent 4 nights in the appartment on the second floor. The appartment was large, clean and has a new bathroom with hair-dryer. Fantastic view from bedroom and terras on the sea, the hills and Capri. Good dinner possible at acceptable prices. | ||

| Siamo una famiglia tedesca di 4 persone. Il 7 aprile volevamo avere uns serata bella e abbiamo traovato il ristorante Caprile casualmente. E stata una serata veramente bellissima. L'ambiente e molte bello, tutto carino e con gusto. E aperto da poco tempo, ma già organizata bene! Tutti erano molto gentile e ci hanno spiegato il menu con molto pazienza. La qualità della cena era buonissima. Il vino secondo me anche molte buono e della regione. Posso consigliare molto questo ristorante! Se torniamo a Massa Lubrense si torna anche alla Villa Caprile.
